Description:
The build-up of organic matter in the aquarium and filter, its decomposition, and the formation of ammonia nitrates.
How to cure:
Perform a partial water change, siphon the gravel, and rinse the filter. You can add water conditioners that neutralize ammonia and nitrates.
Prevention:
Disease can be prevented by timely washing the filter, regularly removing silt and organic waste, performing water change, and siphoning the gravel.
