Poisoning by medicine, food, aquarium chemistry

Symptoms: Convulsions, Blindness, Bloat, Discoloration, Heavy slime production

Symptoms include jerky movements, amblyopia, skin discoloration, inflammation of the gastrointestinal tract occurring with mucous production.

Description:
It is caused by misuse of medicine, particularly the overdose of Methylene Blue, Malachite Green, Basic Violet K, Trypaflavine. They are toxic to the viscera. Potassium permanganate and copper sulphate cause changes in the nervous system, kidneys, liver, circulation organs. Formalin disrupts the function of the nervous and circulatory systems. Antibiotics suppress resistance to disease and can be toxic in high doses.

How to cure:
When the fist signs of poisoning appear, move the fish to an aquarium with clean water and forced aeration and perform a 100% water change.
