Symptoms: Excited behaviour, Fish hang near the surface, Fish jump out of the water, Fish lie on the gravel

Fish exhibit erratic movements, lie at the bottom or hang at water surface. They have decreased resistance to a number of infectious diseases which under normal circumstances do not pose any threat to them. Affected fish will sometimes jump out of water.

Description:
Dramatic changes in temperature cause fishs death.

How to cure:
Raise or decrease water temperature to the level the fish was previously kept at. Avoid dramatic changes in water temperature. If temperature shock occurs, fish should be placed in one of the following therapeutic solutions:

Malachite Green (0.006g per 10L of water) or 3 hours;
Methylene blue (0.1g per 10Lof water) for 12 hours;
Basic Violet K (0.001g per 10L of water) for 24 hours.

Prevention:
Maintain a stable water temperature.
